Day 2

Departure for a caving activity, in the caves of Leidarendi, a true “volcanic chimney” typical of Iceland!

This excursion is suitable for all age groups, it’s an unusual activity, interesting and memorable!

Your afternoon: Icelandic horseback riding! (Perfectly suitable for beginners).

The Icelandic horse has a unique feature: it masters five different gaits, while most breeds only master three. The two additional gaits are the pace, and the tölt. The tölt is a gait typical of the Icelandic horse and is innate to it, consisting of a four-beat rhythmic step, very comfortable for the rider, between a trot and a gallop.

Along this pleasant walk, the group will traverse a landscape of wooded hills and fields of moss-covered lava, with the magnificent Bláfell Blue Mountains in the background.

Day 3

Departure for an exceptional team bonding day in a Super Jeep across the famous Icelandic “Golden Circle”! These extraordinary vehicles are modified in Iceland to suit the local terrain requirements. Accompanied by your French-speaking guide – connected to all Super Jeeps by radio, you will set off to explore 3 major natural sites: The Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: a site remarkable both for its geological and historical aspects; The Geysir area: where you will witness an impressive phenomenon of a spring gushing several meters into the air; Gullfoss Waterfall or “Golden Falls”, formed by the swirling waters with a strong flow from the Hvítá glacial river, which then plunges into the deep gorges of the same name.

Lunch in the open Icelandic nature at the Geysir site.

Snowmobile Activity: After lunch, we will then take a mountain trail towards Skálpanes in the southeastern part of Langjökull glacier. Each participant receives a ski suit, beanie, gloves, helmets, and overshoes if needed. An afternoon filled with sports and mechanics! The ride lasts about an hour, with a stop after half an hour allowing for the swapping of drivers for each snowmobile, as well as for enjoying explanations about the surrounding landscape and the glacier itself.
