Chianti, the eponymous wine!
If you want to experience an unforgettable Italian journey during your offsite, be sure to explore the landscapes, traditions, and craftsmanship of Tuscany! The region is full of culinary and cultural delights. It’s no wonder some of the best wines in the world are produced here! Discover Chianti, the eponymous wine of Tuscany! The Chianti region, located between Florence and Siena, is known for its exceptional climate conditions. It has been dubbed “the sleeping beauty” due to its ability to harvest grapes all year round, even in winter! The sunny weather contrasts with the altitude of the various mountains and hills to offer optimal growing conditions for wine production. Besides world-renowned wines like Chianti Classico Riserva, produced from Sangiovese Grosso vines, and Brunello di Montalcino, produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes, this region also produces olives, cereals, potatoes (mainly varieties like Marisa), and oils used for cooking or preserving food. Gastronomy also plays a vital role here; you’ll find many excellent restaurants waiting for your visit! Chianti is an Italian wine recognized as one of the best in the world. It is primarily made from Sangiovese, Mammolo, and Canaiolo grapes. It is grown on varied soils, which results in a high quality of wines; although Chiantis are mostly grown on clay-limestone soils. White Chiantis are produced in lesser quantities than the traditional reds, as legislation allowed the addition of 30% white grapes to the blend before 2005; but since then, this practice has been banned by new legislation, according to which 80% of the grapes must be Sangiovese for the wine to be called “Chianti”. We offer you the chance to explore this historical heritage during your corporate retreat in Tuscany. This is through various team-building or incentive activities, depending on the goals you wish to achieve with your colleagues during your trip.
