Exploring the island of Šipan and its hidden caves in Dubrovnik

Šipan, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands, offers enriching exploration opportunities. It’s easy to be charmed by the island, with its super Instagrammable stone houses and the tranquil harbor framed by wooded hills rising above the town. During our exploration of the island of Šipan and its hidden caves, we can rent bikes in Sudurad and cycle across the island to the other seaside village on Šipan, Šipanska Luka. The route goes through olive groves, citrus and fig plantations, and vineyards, with the scent of pine in the air. At Šipanska Luka, you can watch fishermen hauling in their catch of the day and stroll among the grand buildings, including a fortified church from the 16th century.

We will also have a truly unique experience during the exploration of the island of Šipan. This unusual activity involves entering the secret underwater cave located off the coast of the island of Šipan. This hidden spot can only be reached by kayak or swimming. Once inside the cave, it will be very dark. However, after a few minutes, your eyes will adjust and you’ll see the beautiful emerald green color surrounding you. Since the cave is not easily accessible, we might have the place exclusively for you and your team. A truly special experience, which could be the highlight of your team retreat in Croatia. Lastly, since every island has wonderful cliff-jumping spots. This is a fun activity that the more adventurous among your colleagues and thrill-seekers might try during the exploration of the island of Šipan. You can also go jet-skiing and engage in other water sports. Or, you can simply relax on the beach, sipping cocktails under the sun! The Elaphiti Islands offer a wide variety of activities. Enjoy the tranquil beaches, delicious Croatian cuisine, and numerous water sports options during your corporate retreat in Dubrovnik.
